By downloading, installing, or using the Hisabo mobile application (“App”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. About Hisabo

Hisabo is a simple hisab-kitab (income and expense recording) application designed to help users manually track their daily financial entries. Hisabo is intended for personal and small business use and does not provide professional accounting, legal, or financial advice.

2. Use of the App

You agree to use Hisabo:

• Only for lawful purposes
• Only to record information you choose to enter
• Without attempting to misuse, reverse engineer, or disrupt the App

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.

3. No Professional Advice

Hisabo:

• Does not calculate taxes
• Does not provide accounting advice
• Does not replace a professional accountant or financial advisor

Any decisions made based on data recorded in Hisabo are your responsibility.

4. Data & Storage

By default, your data is stored locally on your device. Hisabo does not require account registration. You control your data and may delete it anytime from within the App.

If you choose to enable optional features such as WhatsApp summaries or exports, limited data may be processed only to provide that service.

5. Optional Notifications & WhatsApp Features

Daily reminders and WhatsApp summaries are optional. These features can be enabled or disabled from Settings. You are not required to provide a phone number to use Hisabo. Hisabo will never force you to enable WhatsApp or external messaging.

6. User Responsibility

You acknowledge that:

• You are responsible for backing up your data if needed
• Deleting the App may remove locally stored data
• Hisabo is not responsible for data loss due to device issues, system resets, or uninstalls

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App, including App design, Logos, Text, and Code, belong to Hisabo or its developers.

You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the App without permission.

8. App Availability & Changes

We may update the App, improve features, fix bugs, or modify or discontinue parts of the App. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Hisabo is provided “as is”
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for financial loss resulting from incorrect data entry or interpretation

10. Termination

You may stop using Hisabo at any time by uninstalling the App. We may restrict access if the App is misused or used unlawfully.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
